Today i was reasearching the monument. I found out it had 311steps. My next step is too reasearch the llndon eye.

How much should wealthier people pay in taxes? There are a lot of different opinions on this. The conservative party and United future think they should pay less then they do now however labour and the maori party think the cost should be somewhat more. Mana and green believe wealthier people pay much more in there taxes. Yet still National and New Zealand first think they should pay the same as now. Act think wealthier people should pay much less in there taxes. But whats your opinion?

This piece of writing shows that i know how to do my wrting goal which is spelling.I had to check a few words but everything is now spelt correctly.

It was a sunday morning, and as I gazed my beady eyes out the the window, I could see someone new moving in across the street into a rather cool looking bubble house. I went over to say hello. When all of a sudden I tripped and popped his bubble house. Suddenly the poor mincon, who was inside the house before it popped ran like his life was depending on it. I chased after him to apologise. But he just keped running.

 Recently, I have  been showing up on time for peer mediation and library on a friday. This week in the library i helped out mrs ward when the people who were meant to be on were at the winter tournament.

Conclusion-

After considering all the sides of the disscuison, I personally believe that consumers have the most responsablitie. Consumers are usally 1 or 2 people, whereas businesses are a massive group meaning everyone relys on someone else, so they don't have as much responsabilitie. A second point would be that businesses don't always follow the fair trading act, resulting in the consumer having to fix it , meaning the consumer has more responasablitie. This is why I believe consumers have the most responsablitie.

Baby carrier

In the last example, there is a company selling fake, as well as, defective baby carriers. The clip easily comes apart, and if a baby was in the carrier, it could be badly hurt. As a result of this the real company could be effected because people might think the real ones are fake too.

Place of work: Moorehouse medical centre

1. What do you do on a daily basis?

 I mainly work in triage.

Triage is for medical emergencies. It is the process of determining the severity of the situation and then placing the patient in order to be seen by the doctor and to receive treatment.

Each patient must be seen within ten minutes of arrival and we are alerted if this needs to be immediate.

I can apply the drawing and painting techniques. I have used vanishing points. I am relational because Katie said so.

My goal was to use clauses and connectives.

Childhood

Winston Churchill, was born on the 30th November 1874, to lord and lady Randolph Churchill ( his mothers real name is Jeannie Jerome.). Since Churchill's parents traveled extensively and had very busy social lives, little Winston spent most of his younger years with his nanny, Elizabeth Everest. He grew very fond of her. Winston Churchill went to Harrow school, St. George's school ascot and lastly he went to  the royal military academy at Sandhurst.

My End of Term Reflection

The area of my learning that I have made the most progress on is my reading because I was a level for 4p at the begging of the year and I am now a level 5p. 

The area I most want to improve on next term is my writing because I think I need to have better ideas.

My short story

My goal was to include complex sentences by adding commas.
I have used this sample because it adds more detail to the sentence: I live in a small town, called Borehamwood, which is just out of London.

I was at work, starring out the window,daydreaming. I was daydreaming about my dream job. But what I didn't know was that later that week I was going to be offered it.

Hi my name is Indie, Indie Smith. At the moment, I work at a small hotel, in London. It's actually very busy for a hotel it's size. I am the receptionist there. I live in a small town, called Borehamwood, which is just out of London. In the future, I would love to become a wedding dress designer.

Making choices- Introduction

This piece of writing shows how I have been using connectives. 

For example I have used and, for example

You make important choices everyday! Some choices are difficult and some choices aren't, but it's important to make the right choices. If you don't make the right choices there are consequences. For example if your mum asks you to do something and you don't do it there are consequences.

My good learner strategy goal

My good learner strategy goal I have been focusing on for the last couple of weeks was giving feedback. What I have improved on is giving feedback I know this because I have been giving next steps. I have found this challenging because I find it hard to find a problem in people's work. My next step is to ask for feedback.

I have really improved on keeping in time. My next step is get faster at changing chords espically between c and f.

Why school camps shouldn't be banned.

This paragraph is a paragraph out of my agument  about why school camps shouldn't be banned. This writing shows the use of connectives. For example I used I believe and from my experience. 

I believe school camps are great for getting to know your class better. When you're on school camps you spend a lot of time with your classmates. Some people might say that children can spend time with each other on the weekend but on camp they have fun doing once in an lifetime opportunities with there friends. From my experience you also get put in groups with people that you might not normally talk to this is a good thing it means you make new friends.

My Awesome Art Work!

 

I divided the different colours by using bold black lines. They made it very easy to identify the different shapes. 

I have done darker colours for the river and lighter colours for the sun. It creates impact. 

I used different tones in my river the most but i also used tones on my hills and sun. It makes the river stand out more.

I used a circle for the sun and wavy lines for the hills, river and streaks coming out of the sun. They are bold shapes they stand out.

I think my art work went really well, it went better than i thought it would. My next step is to make sure there are no white gaps that I haven't painted.
